Boxing Classes

The boxing classes are recreational fitness classes geared towards those who wish to learn the basics of boxing and increase their general physicality. Activities include: 1/2 hour warm up and stretch, 1/2 hour of cardio, 1 hour boxing technique on hand pads, heavy bags, speed, double-end and hook bags. These classes are ideal for beginners and intermediates.

Competitors Class
This class is designed for those who are considering competitive boxing. The class is kept small and has a large focus on ring work and 1-on-1 coaching.The Newgirls Coaches Program offers potential new coaches opportunities for practical coaching time. Those interested in pursuing coaching are invited to participate with Savoy during classes and at outside workshops.The Newsgirls Club is also involved in youth programs, anger management and physical education workshops with social service agencies throughout Toronto.
